I was responsible for overseeing the in-house and external teams of software engineers and data engineers (consisting of more than 60 people), and providing leadership, vision, and direction for the software engineering organisation. I was also responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent. I also oversaw the implementation of software engineering initiatives and was responsible for championing best practices and ensuring initiatives achieve business outcomes, including the launch of a new Branching, Environments and Testing strategy.
